The train comes to town

Last night Hunter decided that we should play trains - however he didn't mean the trains in his room, he decided we should build box trains... who knows where the idea came from but we all sure had fun!

Hunter had his map out and explained to us that the train was heading to Skagway. We were happy to hear that as Sunday night his "map" was for a roadtrip to Edmonton that we have somehow managed to avoid :)

You have the engine car, along with the conductors potty throne, the tool car in the middle and the lowly passenger car in the back - which requires extensive squatting by adults so Dad bailed out early to be the photographer!

Hunter then decided that Mom was having too much fun as passenger and that he should try it out. This put Mom in the drivers seat and the imagination went wild. We had arms moving on our sides to simulate the clack clack of the rail wheels, we had arms pulling the Choo Choo whistle and then we had the left or right (learning environment always) lean to make it around the corner. Hunter discovered that it was fun to lean so far over that he fell out of his passenger car and giggles started all around again.
