The big activity here over Easter Weekend is snowmobiling... the weather is getting milder, the days are longer and it's pretty much a 4 day weekend for everyone.
People either head to the Skagway or Haines summit areas and most go for the weekend, complete with campers and tailgate parties.

With our new snowmobile this winter we thought we would head out and give it a try. Tim is working the rest of the weekend so today was our day for adventure.
We headed down the road to a place called Fraser, which is where the Canadian border crossing is on the way to Skagway.

It was absolutely spectacular scenery, lots of fun for everyone (even when Mom got her snowmobile really really really stuck in the snow - see photo below) and we plan to head back more during the month of April.
