Hunter and Mom headed off to our local recycling depot / garbage dump on Saturday to do our bi monthly deposit of assorted stuff.Hunter is highly motivated to grab a ride when you go as they have a great "give and take" building where people leave things for others to take (clothes, household items, books and TOYS...). Spring and Fall cleaning times can be great for young boys looking to increase their car and truck collections.
Saturday's prize was a scooter that was broken. Eagle eye Hunter spotted it as Mom was trying to leave before he found it - no such luck... Lucky that Dad is so handy and was able to bring it back to life quite quickly.
We only have about 3 feet of smooth concrete (small pad in front of the garage) so Hunter has become quite adept at riding his scooter on the lawn and the dirt trails around the house!
As usual, he has also turned it into a "cutting machine" and a "worker machine" for times when he is not riding on top!
