The trip east for Christmas

We all headed out to Ontario for Christmas - It was such an adventure that I'll post different postings for all the great parts!

Our travels started with a very early start (5am) to head off to the Whitehorse Airport. Uncle Andy and Aunt Shannon gave us a great christmas gift of the points to cover our flights to Ontario. The only way to get out of Whitehorse on points at Christmas is Business Class so we were off for a cushy travel time!

Hunter passed the time in Vancouver by running a tow service for bags.

The big surprise of the travel day was the plane from Vancouver to Toronto. It had just come in from Sydney Australia and had their new "pods" in business class. This created some challenges of sitting side by side but also provided Hunter with his very own space with a whole lot of things to play with (chair up, chair down, table up/down, personal tv etc.).

We grabbed a rental car and headed up to Huntsville for a few days at the Deerhurst Inn to start off the vacation.

Hunter was thrilled to have met a friendly OPP officer who let us check out her Police Truck.
