August 26th was Hunter's first day of school in Kindergarten at Whitehorse Elementary http://www.yesnet.yk.ca/schools/wes/.
For their first day there are only 4 kids at a time to enable the teacher to get to know them and to give them lots of time and space to explore and learn about life at school.
Hunter's teacher is Madame Helene and the in class educational assistant is Madame Joanne.
As you may have guessed, he is in French Immersion. He was thrilled when he ended his first day having learned how to say "bonjour, merci, une, deux, trois, quatre & cinq).
Taking after his Dad, his favourite thing about his first day was RECESS...
