We had a great time at the annual "say goodbye to winter" festival at the community centre last weekend. (pretty amazing view with a hockey rink sitting below a mountain on a blue sky day!)
Hunter spent the entire time (5 hours) with his friend Zeke from down the road and they managed to cover off:
- 3 km Orienteering course
- Snow carving (see photo next to snow block)
- skating
- cross country skiing
- playing in the playground
- intermittent snacking at the fabulous cafe
The weather co-operated and it was a fabulous day for everyone!
