Our friend Karen Ramstead came to visit twice this week on her way to and from the Percy deWolfe dogsled race in Dawson City.
Hunter loves when she comes to visit (usually annually on their way to the Iditarod in Alaska) and had a great time being a junior dog handler over the course of the visit
He likes the fact that Karen's dogs (Siberian Huskies) are smaller than ours (Alaskan Malamutes) by about 50 lbs and he can snuggle with them without getting knocked over!
Hunter scooped dog food, carried bags and generally did what ever he could to be a helper...
He's ready to sign up with Karen and head back down the highway to Alberta, sleeping bag and stuffies in hand. Unfortunately his parents aren't quite ready to let him go :)
