We all ventured off to Las Vegas in early December to celebrate Uncle Neale and Uncle Curtis' wedding. We stayed for 8 days (way too long for Mom and Dad) so that Hunter could have lots of time to hang out with his cousins, Grandma, Aunts & Uncles.
The weather was a definite disappointment - it was warmer in Whitehorse than Las Vegas for most of our trip (How often can one say that???).
We had a few adventures up the strip with stops at the Eiffel Tower to see the view, Caesar's Palace to see the Roman guards, New York New York (roller coaster & games room), Excalibur (Knights of the Round table show & games room), MGM Grand (CSI exhibit - a HUGE hit) and the Luxor (Photo of us with Santa on a Harley). On top of that the kids had a great time running around the hotel (Mandalay Bay) and back and forth between all the rooms.
The other big vegas event was HUNTER GOT A HAIR CUT... In 8 years, there is only 1 haircut that has not been done by me (not out of my choice - he just wouldn't go to the barber). He decided he wanted a Mohawk and we came across an old fashioned barber shop. It was a boys event and they had a great time... It was quite the look for a family weekend :)
The wedding was a high caliber festive event with a funny photo booth. Everyone had lots of fun being silly...
