Our first swimming lesson

Hunter had his first organized swimming lesson. It was definitely a learning curve for all of us. He wasn't so sure about following along and not being able to play with all the toys and do what he wanted. It is a class of 5 boys and he knew 2 of them so that was a good start.





Here he is asking Missy if his Mom can come in the class. She successfully explained that lessons are only for kids and that Mom's and Dad's have to sit in the parents area...



We had some fun, a few tears and anxiety moments but ended the class excited to go back next week so that's good.

We followed it up with a swim date with our friend Meghan the next day and Hunter was a fish in the water and actually swam a few strokes on his own. Our plan for the fall is swim lessons Weds nights and swim dates with Meghan on Thursday's so we get learning time and fun time in.
