Wow... here we are still on the river, still camping in the middle of no-where, and still having a fabulous time together! Our first stop this morning is just across the river from where we camped -Parks Canada check-in, also known as the "paddle cabin". There are a few un-manned cabins along the river that travellers have to stop at to sign into for safety. That way, if anyone goes missing, the parks folks can try to estimate where on the river the travellers are. It has somehow evolved over time into the paddle cabin, where people celebrate their travels and create memories for those to come.

Hunter continued as junior guide and pitched in when ever we stopped for lunch or at final camp. Here he is carrying the empty salmon cans back from having washed them out in the river and hanging out "shirtless" with the guides :)
Another fun day of paddling, with Hunter in the raft and Tim and Lee in the kayak. It was the perfect set up for everyone - Hunter has lots of room to play and a fabulously patient Graeme to hang out with (lucky for us, he has 2 young boys of his own) and we get to be active all day, play in the surf waves and explore little side areas.

Hunter picked up a new friend in our travels today and enjoyed the experience of keeping a fuzzy friend, complete with a glass jar with holes punched in the lid, sticks and grass in the jar, and taking it out for fresh air and activity each day! Amazingly enough, the fuzzy guy made it all the way home to the Yukon...
Tonight's campsite was before the last set of whitewater on the river. There were 2 other groups stopped where we had planned so we ended up a little further down the river in an area of mixed brush and larger rocks. We chose the brush due to the flatness although it came with the trade-off of bugs!
