While yesterday was our first snowfall, it was quite mild compared to today. We awoke to a low fog ceiling and at least an inch of snow already on the ground. It had no interest in leaving - in fact, it continued to snow all day long!
When we got home tonight, we did the only natural thing - build a snowman!!!
It's a tradition for us to build a snowman at the first big snow because it may be the only one we get all season. Our first and last snow's are usually wet and sticky enough for snowmen and snowballs. After that we get the champagne powder snow that many ski resorts seek - unfortunately it doesn't make anything fun...
