One of Hunter's favourite winter activities is helping to put in the ice at the ice rink at the community centre. We were lucky this year and Tim was off on the weekend that the weather was "just right". He and Hunter spent 3 days going back and forth to the community centre overseeing the ice making.It's a very precise activity done over many days to build up extremely thin layers of ice - this makes it thicker and stronger, which results in a longer season for everyone. It's done with a hose, a bucket and alot of elbow grease...
