Goblin Forest - a Hunter sized hike

In our research, Goblin Valley State Park came highly recommended as a kid-friendly area. It was about an hour out of the way but definitely worth the trip.

The "goblins" are actually sandstone pillars that look like a forest of toadstools - they are between 3 and 10 feet tall and the perfect place to play hide and seek, although Mom seemed to always be the seeker while Hunter and Dad hid.

We played here for about an hour and happened to meet another 3 year old little boy named Aaron. He and Hunter were instant friends (as announced by Aaron) and they enjoyed lunch and truck playing together. It was nice to see that we still have some group play and sharing skills after 10 days hanging out with just his parents.
