River Walk / Zion Narrows adventure

Today was a great day! Everyone was in a happy mood and travelling went well.

We headed off to Zion relatively early to get a good start on hiking and exploring. You have to take a shuttle bus from the Visitor's Centre as cars aren't allowed deep into the park. We headed all the way to the top of the tour and got off at the Temple of Zinawava to travel down the Riverside Walk. It is a 3.3km round trip all purpose trail (paved) that was recommended as it travels the canyon floor and you can turn around at any time.

Hunter was in great spirits and we actually made it 8k round trip - the end of the of the Riverside Walk is actually the end of a trail called "the Narrows" (www.climb-utah.com/zion/narrows.htm) which was one of those "would love to do if we didn't have a 3 yr old!" items for both of us.. It was wet (well past our knees many times) but amazing. Hunter was great in the backpack and we had a GREAT day...
